with 4 of your employees. Starting with Terry who never refused
to answer any of my many question, Dan and Juan who worked tirelessly
to complete a difficult installation under less than perfect
conditions, and finally Chris who did the final adjustments
and made sure everything was as it should be. These people are
a great asset to your company.

I am writing
this letter to recommend Total Comfort Heating and Cooling.
I try to be a careful and thoughtful consumer and do not give
high praise unless it is deserved. My entire experience with
Total Comfort has been a positive one.
When we decided we needed to replace our furnace, I researched
furnaces via the Internet, talked to friends and family, and
read numerous consumer publications. I talked to about ten contractors
on the phone and got bids from six. Many of the contractors
gave me conflicting advice and false information about code
requirements, the need for a permit, the size furnace I needed,
which furnace brands were best, and the value of high efficiency
furnaces. Five contractors didn't return my calls requesting
a bid on a new furnace installation, and three contractors made
appointments and didn't show up or call to cancel the appointment.
Total Comfort Heating and Cooling called to let me know when
they would come and came when they said that they would. On
one occasion when a big snowstorm hit and many people were without
heat, they called to let me know they would be running late
as they were servicing people without heat. They kept me informed
of their estimated arrival time. They took the time to explain
how the Trane variable speed furnace worked and patiently answered
my numerous questions. When I requested references,proof of
their license and insurance, and detailed specifications about
the thermostat, I received everything that I needed in a timely
manner.
Matt and Matt, the furnace installers, arrived when they were
scheduled to and worked hard to install my furnace in one day
even when it meant they had to work past 7 p.m. When the work
was complete, they took the time to patiently explain how the
thermostat, humidifier, and furnace worked. To my surprise they
also had cleaned up after themselves!
Everyone I dealt with - the office personnel, installers, service
manager, and president - was friendly, courteous, helpful, knowledgeable,
and professional. I can, without hesitation, recommend Total
Comfort Heating and Cooling.

Allow me to express the appreciation, and "Total"
satisfaction I have for the courtesy, conduct, and commitment
of your company. Having recently relocated to Colorado from
Pennsylvania, my wife and I saw the local television "trouble
shooter" programs about certain contractors in the area,
who were less than they professed to be. Indeed, often much
less than their word! We approached our recent HVAC project
with caution and much concern about how we would be treated.
From the first contact made with your receptionist, to the final
inspection made by you personally, and especially through the
personable yet focused work from both of your service technicians,
I say, "Well Done!" And thank you for reassuring two
newcomers to Colorado, that there still are reputable contractors
and companies that are as good as their word! Our heating and
air conditioning needs not only were met with quality equipment,
but with the quality employees of Total Comfort. I would be
more than willing to have anyone who needs that "reassurance"
to call me and ask any questions or express any concerns they
may have before proceeding to do business with Total Comfort.

This winter
we were compelled to replace our furnace in our Littleton home
under trying circumstances of a worn out furnace during extremely
cold weather. Several heating establishments were willing to
help us but we were not able to get a firm installation date
for the unit we desired. We found a "Trane" dealer
known as Total Comfort and Heating of Lakewood, Colorado who
realized our predicament. Total Comfort Heating and Cooling,
within 72 hours efficiently removed our old furnace and reinstalled
our new Trane XE 80, variable speed, two phase furnace that
met all our needs. The installation workmen were well equipped,
professional, neat, and polite. Prior to leaving our home we
were given an inspection and instructions on the operation and
maintenance of our new furnace by the very technicians who took
part in the furnace installation. A
bonus that we as home owners realized was that one could never
detect any evidence of damage to our carpets, walls, or woodwork
in our beautiful home. As homeowners, we found it gratifying
to have had the firm Total Comfort Heating and Cooling of Lakewood,
Colorado available to solve a most demanding and somewhat difficult
task in our behalf.
